My foundation in massage work began at Blue Heron Academy, where I completed the 600 hour program in Medical Massage Therapy in 2015. My studies here cultivated my passion for understanding human anatomy and muscle functioning, and allowed me to tap into my intuition for identifying where pain and stress can live in the body. Following my training, I joined a private massage therapy practice, where I was able to grow and expand as a therapist and hone my skills and develop areas of speciality. In my seven years of practicing massage, I have come to have a deepened understanding of the universal healing power of massage for every body, the impact of stress on the mind and body, and how massage can provide both tangible relief and balance.
I value relationship building with clients, hearing feedback, and tailoring massage work to individual needs. My massage style is nurturing, focused on problem-solving, and holistic, and my style is influenced by the mind-body connection. I am in trained various modalities of massage and bodywork including deep tissue, relaxation, prenatal massage, as well as hot stone, cold stone, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy. I am also passionate about providing aftercare feedback, such as resources on stretches, self-care, and ways to manage pain in between sessions.
When I’m not providing massage work, you can usually find me being active outdoors with my husband + our two dogs! I love crafting, traveling, exploring our beautiful state, camping, hiking, and pretty much anything that’s gets me outside connecting with nature!
